Dabble is a pleasant place to draft, and its plot grid is the best in the category. If grid plotting is central to how you work, that alone can decide it. Two things to weigh. First, the meter: Standard runs about $19/month, so a book that takes two years costs more than double a Galley licence, and the ~$699 lifetime tier is over three of them. Second, and easy to miss: Dabble exports a manuscript, not a book. To get a print interior or a store-ready EPUB you still add a formatter: a second tool, and often a second bill.
